Intro to Rug Braiding
NOTE: 3rd of 3 classes

The three-strand braided wool rug is reminiscent of an era when rag rugs were considered an affordable way to reuse worn clothing and blankets to create a rug for the home.
FIRST CLASS: On the first day, participants will learn how to choose the right wool and begin the braiding process.
SECOND CLASS: The second class will be shaping the braid
THIRD CLASS: third class will be lacing.
The materials included will allow each participant to make a small trivet or chair seat.
