Gorham Senior's Cooperative
The Gorham Senior's Cooperative, is a group created by Lisa Becker, for senior citizens in Gorham and neighboring towns to feel supported, engaged and not alone.

Its mission: to inspire, empower and educate seniors within a welcoming, creative and supportive community so they may overcome isolation and loneliness.
​
The Gorham Seniors Cooperative is proud to host its weekly gatherings at Gorham Arts Alliance, a vibrant community center located in the heart of Gorham, Maine.
GAA is home to a wide variety of community-based activities, including performing arts, exercise classes, and special events for all ages. We're grateful to be part of this dynamic space that brings people together and supports lifelong learning, creativity, and connection.

Join us Monday, Wednesday or Friday! There is NO COST to attend! bring your enthusiasm and maybe a snack!

Throughout the year we host presenters and guest speakers. Past presenters have included: Libby Bischof, USM History Professor, Jude Valentine (chair yoga) and the Maine Women Writers Collection.

It's not all talk! We go on outings to places like Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum, join local rec departments trip's and may organize luncheons at a local restaurant!

Artrageous Seniors
Let your creativity shine!

We offer a variety of art classes from mosaics to painting, sculpture to printmaking, a little something for everyone. There are also opportunities to participate in our intergenerational program! All classes are lead by teaching artist and sculptor Christina Thibault.
